Infinity Expeditions

Climate Change Initiative

Sea Dance FestivalThe Climate Change initiative is an evolving concept that reflects the crew’s ongoing interaction on Infinity.

The team's input is essential when it comes to creating a dialog with islanders on the subject, conducting and recording interviews, gathering support for certain islands, learning more about and passing on general information about Climate Change, creating activism and so forth.

Sea Dance FestivalWe ask for our crew’s participation in an effort to do what we can in collaboration with locals to make a difference in the communities we visit. It is a life enriching and fun experience to break through the boundaries of personal inhibitions, language barriers and culture clash to connect on issues that affect the well-being of our planet and the livelihood of future generations, and concern us all.

Sea Dance FestivalWe learn about and follow local protocol in initiating dialog with chiefs, leaders and villagers, in an attempt to gain knowledge on local perspectives and share what we know. We conduct interviews, discuss climate change and perspectives on what it may imply, film the event when we have permission to do so, make lots of friends, visit the local school or community hall, file data, create documentaries, and write articles. All of the information we gather we place online to share with our partners and interested people around the world.

Our possibilities with respect to this project increase as sponsors and partner organizations grant support and new motivated team members join the ship with fresh ideas, talents and abilities.

In Fifty Years is one such project to have grown out of our Climate Change Initiative.
