Partnerships
Infinity Expeditions is pleased to partner with organizations and individuals working toward similar goals in the Pacific. We offer unique access to remote areas of the Pacific Ocean for environmental and humanitarian groups, high school and college programs, documentary film crews, and more, offering an environmentally friendly and economical alternative to conventional research vessels. The fully crewed and equipped 120 ft. Sailing Vessel Infinity is available for charter throughout the Pacific basin. For more information on chartering or other possible partnerships with S/V Infinity, email us at infinityexpeditions@gmail.com. We look forward to establishing fruitful partnerships with like-minded people and organizations.

We welcome scientists and other project staff on board our fully crewed and equipped 120 foot sailing vessel Infinity to conduct their own research, filming, and activities. We also offer our volunteer crew to assist hands-on with species counts, data collection, and other projects – providing an efficient, dedicated, trainable volunteer team in the South Pacific. Chartering is a possibility as well, depending upon our schedule, whereabouts and ongoing project commitments. |

Documentary and Media Partnerships |
For organizations who share a vision and goals similar to ours, we offer unique access to remote areas of the Pacific Ocean - an environmentally friendly and economical alternative to conventional research vessels. We welcome scientists and other project staff on board to conduct their own research and activities. Contact us about coming aboard Infinity during any of our scheduled expeditions, or to discuss the possibility of our making a special trip to assist with your project needs. We are generally able to offer daily, reduced rates for organizations sending small groups (2-4 people) or willing to snuggle up on board. We also will consider full charters for more extensive, longer-term projects (see below).

Infinity is crewed by an international group of 16 volunteers, all committed to the ideals of achievable sustainability. We welcome opportunities to provide volunteers for projects that fit within our mission. Possibilities include assistance with species counts, data collection, and more. We are open to being trained to collect the specific data you need while we are at sea, providing an efficient, dedicated volunteer team in the South Pacific. |
Infinity has been involved in creating several documentaries and news articles. Interested film-makers and members of the media are invited to join us for a unique window into the environment and culture of the Pacific. We are also happy to provide photos, video footage and articles from our expeditions for local and international media efforts. |

“S/V Infinity is equipped for basic scientific study and offers an unparalleled platform for research in some of the most inaccessible areas of the globe. Fully outfitted for diving, Infinity is the ideal base for expeditions exploring the marine environment of the Pacific. Infinity's travels take it through areas of extreme interest to anthropologists, oceanographers, geologists, ornithologists, biologists, and astronomers, among others. In the past, S/V Infinity was chartered by the Planetary Coral Reef Foundation for a two year voyage from Thailand to Fiji and back via Indonesia, including Irian Jaya, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, the Solomons and Malaysia studying the conservation status of the region's coral reefs. Infinity's next science charter will be assisting the Government of the Marshall Islands in carrying out a conservation assessment of the remote, unstudied islands of their country and establishing a large national marine park.” |
“Raising awareness throughout the world to the realities of life in the remote Pacific islands is a cornerstone of Infinity's mission. We offer schools, universities and other organizations the unique experience of bringing students on board a working research vessel. S/V Infinity, the largest ferro-cement sailing ship in the world, offers students a chance to learn more about the marine environment while participating in the intricacies of running a large sailing ship. Education charters aboard Infinity are ideal for classes studying marine science, environmental science, renewable technologies, astronomy, anthropology and much more. These charters are targeted to high school students and above, and are highly tailored to suit the particular needs of your curriculum.” |
“Facing drastic social and environmental change, the Pacific Islands are some of the most threatened societies in the world, and some of the most difficult to reach. Infinity invites other organizations working in the region to use this vessel as a platform for their efforts. Missions may range from outreach expeditions intended to learn from and share with these island nations about best practices in sustainable agriculture, to missions to provide supplies in times of natural disasters, to groups carrying out community vulnerability studies in the face of a changing world. Unique in its use of sail power instead of the conventional oil-consumptive methods of transport, Infinity is ideal for organizations concerned with embodying sustainable ideals.” |
